About Us
The Park Street Citadel Corps of The Salvation Army
(formerly ‘Windsor Corps’)
officially opened in July 1938 after spending a few years as an outpost
of the Grand Falls Corps.
The first stand-alone citadel was officially opened
July 13, 1944. This building was the place of worship until 1961 when a
new citadel on King Street was built and dedicated. That building served
the people until August 27, 1988, when our current citadel at 27 Park Street
was opened and our name changed from Windsor Corps to Park Street Corps.
